Helping the Poorest on Earth Thrive

His 2 Offer works both locally and globally to provide support and opportunities to the homeless, hurting, and needy with the goal to train and equip people to be self-supporting members of society, so they can help others. We help transform communities by the love of Jesus.

About Us

Our mission is “To implement projects that equip and educate people and communities to quickly transition from relief support to independence.”

His 2 Offer (H2O) started out in 2009 with local, science-based projects (solar mobile washer and dryer system for the unhoused) and quickly branched out to global projects, first in Mexico, Haiti, and Africa. Currently, our global work is mainly in Malawi in southern Africa.

Malawi is one of the poorest countries on earth. Disease, hunger, inefficient farming techniques, and lack of access to health care and education keep people caught in the cycle of poverty. There is not enough food. Many people are hungry and sick. AIDS and Malaria are the major diseases and causes of death in Malawi.

Foreign aid bringing foreign solutions and resources can make the situation worse. Our goal is real self sufficiency without dependency on foreign aid.

We educate, equip, and empower local communities. We teach transformation and survival with the help of state-of-the art technology in health care, education, and agriculture. We build things that have never been built before and use innovative solutions to help empower local communities. We use agricultural technology that does not depend on the climate.

Fish farming can help feed communities, provides training and business opportunities, and it creates fertilizer to grow green vegetables. The fish food is produced with peanuts and peanut oil is a  byproduct that can be sold to raise funds for other needs.

We use solar mills to produce flour. We share our models so they can be reproduced in other communities around the world.

Our school provides access to high-quality education for rural communities. We use the SmartBox® system which provides our students access to a large collection of content, books, videos, and learning resources via a wireless intranet.

We build health care clinics in prisons and rural communities to help care for the sick and help prevent diseases.

H2O’s Guiding Principles

1.Teach, empower, transform communities.

2.Never do things for people they can do themselves.

3.Promote solutions from the local community.

4.Be in partnership with the local community.

5.Promote and teach a long-term vision.

6.Give local people priority on all work.

7.Start with an endgame in mind.

8.Include 3 local leaders: government, business, and church.

9.Focus on financial and spiritual accountability.

10.Avoid aid without learning because it fosters poverty.
